Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Aymagambetov visited the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University. Askhat Aymagambetov got acquainted with the exhibition of the archaeological detachment of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University "The country of the Great Steppe in the stream of civilizations (100 thousand years BC - XII century AD)". He visited the coworking center “100 New Textbooks” and the “Nazarbayev Center” of the University, where the works of the Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev are collected. It is noteworthy that the Nazarbayev Center Foundation is intended for all categories of scientific and pedagogical staff and for students.
Askhat Aymagambetov visited the IT and Digitalization Center of SKSPU. Six free “IT-SYNYP” classes function here. Children learn the basics of robotics and programming, the skills of IT specialties. Classes are open as part of the NurOtan party project "Training of IT Specialists".
Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Aymagambetov talked with students and their parents. Parents expressed great gratitude to the university. Since it is the training in these classes that helps children unleash their inner potential.
Then Askhat Aymagambetov met with the staff of the university. The Minister wished productive work to the newly appointed rector Anar Kairbekova. He noted that actually government devotes great attention to the issue of training highly qualified teaching staff. He spoke about the primary tasks in the field of education. The Minister clarified aspects of future legislation on the status of a teacher, emphasizing that it is aimed at supporting teachers and educators.
