D. Rakhymbekov was born on 30th April in1947 in South Kazakhstan, Tulebiy’s region, in the village Zagambar.
In 1966 he have graduated high school № 51 in Shymkent.
After graduating " with honours " Shymkent Pedagogical Institute, in 1970-1973 he worked as a teacher mathematics in high school № 26 named after Jambul in Shymkent. Duiring 1974-1993 years he worked as a lecturer, associate professor of "geometry and methods of teaching mathematics" Shymkent Pedagogical Institute.
In the 1993-1995 years was Head of Department of physical culture in Shymkent inistitut, and in 1995-1997 he was a senior research co-worker for doctors dissertation beyond PhD.
In 1998 - 2013,he was associate professor, head of the department, professor of "Theory and Methods of Teaching Mathematics" in South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov.
Since 2013 he has been working as Professor of the Department "Physics and Mathematics" South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical institut.
In 1978-1981 years he was graduate student of the Kazakh Pedagogical institution named after Abay.
In 1984 he defended his candidate dissertation on methods of teaching mathematics in the Specialized Scientific Council of Ukrainian Scientific-Research Institute of Education in Kiev.
In 1998 he defended his doctor thesis on the specialty 13.00.02 - teaching methodology in mathematics Almaty State University named after Abai. By decision Higher Attestation Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded the title of Professor in 2002.
He was owner of a rank "The best teacher of the university" two times (2007, 2014). In 2014 he was elected member (academician) of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan.
Scientific – research activities D. Rakhymbek directed on methodology of teaching mathematics in secondary schools and training future teachers of matimatics. He has published more than 250 scientific and methodical works, including 2 monographs «Оқушылардың логикалық-методологиялық білімдерін жетілдіру» (1998); «Мектеп математка курсында дәлелдеуге үйрету» (2009). More than 30 manual: «Математиканы оқытудың дербес әдістемесі: арифметика, алгебра және анализ бастамалары» (2015); «Ықтимималдықтар теориясы мен математикалық статистика элементтерін оқыту әдістемесі» (2012); «Геометрияны оқыту әдістемесі (планиметрия) (2013); «Геометриялық салу есептері» (2015); «Алгебралық және тригонометриялық өрнектерді түрлендіру» (2015) etc.
Under the leadership of D. Raiymbek defended 2 doctors of sciences, 15 candidates of sciences. At the department, he gives lectures and practical training at a proper scientific and theoretical level on methods of teaching mathematics and elementary mathematics: is the head of course and diploma works of students. Supervisor of dissertations and masters and PhD. Family, raised three sons and one daughter.
